Hi,

Great work and thank you for sharing.

I need to migrate a the default Obsidian theme from 2007 to 2010. Below are the steps that I take:

1. Copy the Obsidian theme folder from SharePoint 2007 over to 2010

2. Add theme.css to the Site Style list.

3. When I apply the changes only the Quick Launch bar gets updated and the rest stay the same...

Is there a step that I missed? or should I combine the Moss Extension.css with the theme.css?

Thanks in advance for your response,

Ed

Hey Ed,

The tool isn’t meant to actually upgrade the theme from SharePoint 2007 to 2010 but instead a replacement of the capability to actually apply the theme in a similar approach.

I’m sorry to say that the upgrade from 2007 to 2010 of the theme is a somewhat manual process as most of the HTML structure has changed sans web parts and a few other elements.

Hi,

Can copied the Obsidian theme folder from SharePoint 2007 over to 2010 and add theme.css to the Site Style list. When I apply the changes only the Quick Launch bar gets updated and the rest stay the same... Do you have a documentation on how to properly migrate a SharePoint 2007 theme to 2010.

Thanks in advance...

Ed
